Senior Living Community - "Serving Seniors from Hiland to Eklutna"

(907) 688-2677
Dear Community Members,
We are thrilled to introduce Amy Demboski as the new
Executive Director of the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior
Center (CERSC). Amy brings a wealth of experience and
a deep commitment to serving our community, making
her an invaluable addition to our team.
Amy's journey to Alaska began in 1989 when her family
moved from Okinawa, Japan, as her father was stationed
at Elmendorf. A proud graduate of Chugiak High School,
Amy, alongside her husband Ben, has raised two children in our community. Her professional path has been diverse, ranging from healthcare business development to public service, including roles in the Anchorage Assembly, Governor Dunleavy's administration, and as the Municipal Manager for the Municipality of Anchorage.
With two graduate degrees from Columbia Southern University and bachelor's degrees from the University of Alaska Anchorage, Amy's educational background complements her extensive
experience. Her dedication to our community is evident through her past volunteer work and her immediate connection to the mission of CERSC.
Amy's enthusiasm for her new role as Executive Director is palpable. She sees it as an
opportunity to give back to the community that she calls home. In her words, "joining the team at CERSC is truly the opportunity of a lifetime. I am excited to work alongside the residents and staff, furthering the organization's mission and strengthening our community bonds."
Please join us in welcoming Amy Demboski to CERSC. We are confident that her leadership will propel us forward in our efforts to support and enrich the lives of our senior community members.
Sincerely,
Heather Sommerville
